3 mile w/u. 8×800 w/ a 400 recovery. 1 mile c/d. I tried to get this one in earlier in the day while there was still some cloud cover and drizzle, but work conspired against me, so by the time I got out, the sun was blazing and the temp was approaching 80*. These early warm days before you are used to them can be a drag. My legs felt like cement blocks. I hit my goal of 3:00 per 800, but it sure was work. I did 10×800 two months ago and it went much better then, but the temp was about 40* cooler. Not a very good confidence booster today, so I’ll call it a heat acclimatization workout.
