Pullman Loop from Rec, CCW. Sunny and nice, a bit of wind from the east-ish, not unbearable but slowed me down some in miles 5-6. Not trying to break an hour today, just cruising "easy". Might have been a bit short on calories, got pretty hard around mile 5. I really thought mile 2, downhill with a tailwind, was faster than 6:17! It felt faster than that. Maybe not, maybe I used up all available fast twitch muscle cells on Sunday's crazy 31x400m interval set. Still a bit sore form that, not too bad, but it might be enough to slow me down. And yet I still came within 27 seconds of breaking an hour. That's improvement. Plus I ran our hill this morning before work, for extra leg fatigue... Nice run, glad I did it, but I'm glad it's over! I need food and an easy day tomorrow. I've allowed myself to get too hungry a couple of times in the past several days, waiting too long to eat and then not eating enough carbs soon enough. I think.
