Down-payment on my July marathon. 18.3, to get my week up to 50, and to get in a long run. Weather was decent, 47-49 degrees or so, moderate breeze from the SW. Ran the Pullman loop twice, CCW, then added 2 miles at the end. Stopped at the car at 8 and 16 for water and a swig of Dr. Pepper.
Total time, start to finish with stops was 2:24:04, @7:52.
Total running time was 2:16:42, @ 7:28.
Total time stopped was 7:22.
Garmin Connect says ~765 feet elevation gained and lost.
Kept the pace very easy, no pushing; my mantra today was "let the speed come to me".
Went straight to the Rec center & hot tub afterwards, but did soak my legs, knees down, in the COLD swimming pool water a couple of times also. That's the closest I'll ever willingly get to an ice bath!!
