Ran the Glenrose Mountain goat 10K Race in Spokane today. That is one tough course - around 800 feet total climbing.
I finished 16th place over-all, by my count. Probably 1st place Master or senior Master, but no results were posted or announced for masters. Prize money was awarded to O/A winners, 3 deep. None to me! $10 late entry fee, sans T-shirt, not bad! Beautiful sunny day, headed for 72 degrees, was 44 here at home early on. Around 52 or so at race time. I did not ever get hot or even very warm while running. We had a headwind going uphill, tailwind coming back down.
Splits: Uphill: 6:24, 8:08, 7:11(.69 miles, 10:28 pace) 21:42 at top 2.69 miles @ 8:04 pace up
Downhill: 5:18, 6:30, 6:18, 3:35(.54 miles, 6:43 pace) (40:0x at 6.0) 21.44 down, 3.54 miles @ 6:08 pace.
