Raced the St.Gertrude's Raspberry Festival 10K in Cottonwood, ID. Doug Jacobsen was 1st o/a, I was second o/a, Rachel was 5th o/a. 41:23 for me, disappointing time but Doug barely broke 40 minutes, this is a tough course, uphill roller-coasters all the way out, could not seem to get any speed on the downhills coming back. Altitude was 4000 feet. I ran the race solo after the first mile. I haven't run since Wednesday because of my sore left ankle and hip. Too many miles? I think I need to go back to fewer, faster miles in training!
