Ran the old spiral highway, all the way up, and all the way back down. Dressed for winter, it was 30 degrees, foggy part way, some sleet, dark grey day all around. I didn't know if I could make it even half way up, I felt pretty darn slow today! Each mile I decided to go one more mile... I passed the Lewiston Hill Climb finish line at 1:11:03-ish, not bad for a weak day! 17 mile total is a new distance record for me. I was slow going down the hill, had no speed, didn't try since I am injured (sport hernia) and didn't want to aggravate that any more than I already was...

I was in excruciating pain afterwards for the entire drive home, my legs were aching terribly. I've felt these pains before, after running the Snake River Half course in training. I think they get better when the run is repeated!? No knee problems for the entire run! My feet were not comfortable at all for the last few miles though.
