Same as one week ago, 7.1 up to 4.5 and then 10 x 100m every quarter but this time I went from 8.6 to 9 mph. Felt kind of bleh mostly because I'm a moron. I really am the man who cannot learn. I couldn't run right before lunch as I usually do because of meetings, so I ate during my meeting (conference call) and then ran later. If I was not an idiot, I would have eaten just a bit to hold me over and drank some water. Instead I ate my entire lunch AND I had a coffee AND I didn't drink any water. As I was walking down to the gym, only then did this occur to me. What the heck? Considering this idiocy, the run went ok. Once I got into the strides, I was cruising along imaging I could keep up this pace for a marathon, HA!
