Bleh. Felt a bit crappy and sluggish joggin out there. I knew I wasn't going to do well but I got it in my head to do a mile time trial instead of repeat 800s like I originally thought. After this poor performance which I'm chalking up to fat, tired from swimming this morning and stomach feeling a bit bleh from recent lunch and hot and windy. Is that enough excuses? I figure I'll try again in a week or two in the morning and see where I'm really at.
6:26 for the mile is embarrassing!
Then I did an 800 in 3:08 after a 10 minute jog/walk
I have to check on the distance and make sure this really is as long as I think. Looks like it's probably 1.01 miles which takes off 3 seconds. But even 6:23 is still crappy. Like I said, I'm looking forward to improving on this.
