Wow. I knew I was dehydrated from working out in the yard all morning and into the afternoon, but I can't believe how high my HR was. I am definitely not acclimated to the heat. Need to do a bunch more of these before R2C. I think we all do.

My knee felt fine during the run and afterwards too, but then I jumped in the pool (first time of the season, yay!) and when I did a breastroke kick, it would hurt my knee. Flutter kick was fine. This felt familiar like I had done this before. I plan to go easy again this week and then slowly increase miles over the next few weeks after back to the 50s.

I hear you man - the heat has come in force, and I've experienced the same HR increase. Hopefully we'll all be acclimated by R2C, and hydrating like mad. Glad to see you taking it easy and being careful of the knee.
