Notes

This was once again not really an easy workout. My HR was higher than I would like but I've gotten used to it at this point. I guess talking in the beginning of the run really takes this much out of me? Or maybe because it's so early in the morning, or maybe it's because of yesterday afternoon's strides? Who knows. I'm not too concerned with it overall. I'm happy to have gotten this distance in before going to NY for the day for the longest meeting of my life. 11 to 6:30! These bozos can talk and talk and talk. And they were there since 8 and they are repeating it over the next two days! I'm glad I'm not going to be a part of that. Anyways, looking forward to a short, easy run tomorrow.

Don't worry about the HR, I'm sure talking played a role. I'm going to assume this was a run with Frank. Either way, I plan on talking the entire time I'm running tomorrow morning as a gesture of solidarity. =)

Have fun at the Bozo Conference... Jenn is at a similar marathon mtg today that's literally titled "Asymmetry". Who comes up with this crap?

Nice running with you again Dimitri. I must admit I wasn't feeling good, but having you to run with helped me through those 10 miles, a lot. I haven't had a chance to sync my Garmin with my USB relay at home yet, but when I do you'll see that I didn't do much more after our 10 mile run Wednesday morning. Reading your notes I agree we should run these slower. I don't know why our pace keeps crawling faster on these runs, maybe it's some kind of subconscious competitive drive. Must go slower...
