Had a completely crappy run today. We ran quadruple loops: zig-zag hills, track, driveway, track. Supposed to go hard on the hills and easy on the track. But I was just sooooo tired. It just sucks to go from having such a good run yesterday to such a crappy run today. Like, sure, my overall pace came out to not being so bad, but my first loop was 7:10, my second was 7:25, third was 7:30, fourth was 7:58, fifth was 8:01, and sixth was 8:07. So I just got continually slower. By a minute per mile. Which completely sucks.

And my hip was popping. It hurt really bad. My hip hasn't popped like this in a long time. It's been hurting for about two weeks now, but I've just tried to put it out of my mind and run hard anyway, because this is my last season ever and I can't afford to let an injury get in my way again. I'm just going to be so mad if it gets to the point where I have to take ibuprofen every day again. Grrr. I thought I had grown out of this whole "body trying to adjust" phase. But no, apparently I've only gotten fatter. Stupid hips.

And it needs to not be windy. It's really hard to run hard with the wind in your face and no one to block it.
