14mi @ 8:00 pace. 2 Lime Gu(7, 12). Lime Gatorade. Practicing fueling for the marathon. Stomach was spotty in first 3mi, but sorted out -- related to breakfast, not Gatorade. All water stops were at stand-still (10sec?). All Gu was on the move.
Miles 13 & 14 were tough -- ran a deficit most of the mile. I certainly started to struggle at the end. I'm not sure what this means my marathon pace should be. After the taper I will have a lot more rest in my legs, than the one day following a hard workout.
