Left Columbia at 4:50am with James to drive to DC. We decided we wanted to see the inauguration and took off work to do it. We drove 953 miles in 15:08 and that was very good considering the bad weather we hit in the appalachians. We visited for about 30 minutes then went out for the daily ritual. It was 9:30 eastern time. We ran negative splits on a net downhill 2 mile out then net uphill 2 mile back! Tough, but great course.
