Notes
Got up at 5:10am in Port Aransas, TX. Picked Dad up and left town at 5:58am. Drove to Corpus Christi, to I-37, to San Antonio, I-35 to Dalas, to I-75 into OK (turns into 69) up to Big Cabin on I-44 to Springfield, MO, 65 to Sedalia (dropped dad off) then 65 to I-70 to Columbia. We drove it in 17 hours plus. Melanie dropped me off up on Creasy Springs road and I ran Texas to Garth to home plus another 1/2 mile. I was sore as hell after driving over 1000 miles (1060 to be exact, and only about 600 were interstate), but the run home helped loosen me up. I should have run in Port A. before leaving, but I was too tired and just wanted to get on the road!
