Legs still not recovered from weekend but much better than Monday. Decided to do this workout as recommended by Boston Marathon web-site/training program. I'm amazed at how much speed I've lost training for this marathon, but the endurance is there. I can't wait to really taper and have fresh legs for the first time in months. Very close now, and the end of April will be easy and eat what I want!

Melaine went with me to the trail for the first 7 miles. We did our warmup together then after each 2 minutes hard, I would turn around and go back to her, then talk till the 2 minute rest was over. I'm sure my average pace is slower, but the quality of the workout was there. I plan to do a lot more of these with her as the racing season progresses.
