Decided that the best way to keep from doing something stupid this morning was to get on the treadmil, put it on 7.5mph (8:00 pace) and run 8 to 10 miles. First, I watched the news, then Jack Daniel's CD, then some of "Wild Hogs". My legs feel fine, but I now have 5 blisters (2 new). I'm happy with where I am mileage wise, but I'm afraid my feet are only going to get worse.

25 years ago: 14 July 83'; "1) Ran 2 of 8 with Max - 7:30 pace. Course- Home to 32nd to Grand to 16th to Warren to J.J. Stadium, 2 laps on track, then around park, 1.5 miles on track then to convention hall. Felt OK (tired), 6:30am. 2) In Kirksville - 155 miles away. 2 mile warmup, 8:00 pace, 3.1 mile race in 17:55 - Ran easy, 1 mile warmdown, 6 total. Sleep 7.5 hours. Drove over 300 miles. Total for day 14; Total for week 59"
