Notes

First workout of the year!!! Went to pint night at FF. Was attempting to hit 6 around 5:45 pace so I was a bit off, but feel pretty solid about this starting point. Decided I cannot compare my workouts to last year, just need to focus on the here and now.

Tonight was deceivingly windy in the zoo lot. Ran the first two with the tempo men's elite crew and then decided that I should actually take a 2 min rest, even if it meant doing the reps alone. Was running solely based off of feel due to not being able to see my watch in the darkness. I would like the think that if I knew my splits I would have been able to be around 3:30-35 every rep. But, the days are getting longer so I should be more able to see my times in the coming weeks. Good news is I felt like I could have handled at least one more...possibly two, but I might have been hyperventilating at that point. Idk. Once again, solid starting point and excited to tune up and get faster in the next month and a half.
