Workout was to cut down by 2 seconds every 800, reaching a 2:40 for the last rep. We ended up modifying it quite a bit. Actually not too hard today. We're moving terribly fast for the 800s, recovery was long. Cami wasn't feeling this one as much as I was, but I also like the faster stuff a bit more. After 3 she decided to cut to 6, which was fine with me bc I'm racing this weekend, so I was planning on being a bit shorter than 10. After 5, Cami thought she couldn't hit the 2:40 doing an 800 but she wanted to get her legs moving more, so we broke it into two 400s. And then finished with some faster 200s just to move some more. It was just a lot of mileage/slow recovery jog bs on the legs with a 400 recovery between every rep and longer w/u&c/d. In retrospect, I would have liked to cut the rest and rep times, knowing the workout would be shorter. That said, it was okay to be a bit lighter today.

Super long warm up and cool down, overall post workout it felt like a lot of slow running with intermittent quicker stuff.
