Algonquin

Notes

Drove out the Algonquin to get on "The Hill". 2mi warm up and then hit the hill. Easy for 3 with a loop at the top where we got about 25-30 sec of recovery running, then had to "stride" but in Kelsey's no-stride-world in the snow, basically felt like an all-out sprint and then probably another 30-40 sec to get back to the top of the hill where we did an easy recovery down. Then last 5 were a harder effort where we pushed a bit more. Or as Dan Walters says " Spiced it up".

Well, got v spicy at the end. Probably couldn't have done another one without slowing down the pace. About a 500m climb and sprints at the top was a big workout to "start" training again.

Another 2 mi all uphill cool down. Great great workout. And ended at Starbucks which is basically my dream to end at a place that gives you coffee. Did a drive-thru brunch at Dunkin and headed back to the city.

Mom and I braved IKEA to get a few last things for the apartment. Surprisingly, didn't have a mental breakdown. Also, grocery shopped with Mack the Cripple and saw Gram for about an hour.
