Ran with mom through the winding streets and over the bridges of Prague. Good to get a little run in and get moving again.

Overall: Cinque Terre is one of the most amazing places on the planet. Days full of hiking, swimming, coffees, Aperol spritz, wines, gelato, Italian foods, beautiful tiny yet mysterious streets that have something to discover around every corner, the people are friendly and the sunsets are just the icing on the cake. There's just something about being so close to water that I love.

Venice was also pretty amazing. There was a lot that we saw and even more that we didn't. Wished we could have eaten on the canal boats drinking with the locals the first night we got there but we did have an amazing dinner inside a beautiful restaurant so I can't be mad. I, also, loved the water aspect of this city. It feels totally different than any other place I've been and their lifestyle is so much more laid back. It's wonderful.

Overall, Italy was truly a success. I'm really really happy I got to take mom to Europe. If I did it again, I think I would drop renting the car and take the train. The plan of driving into towns in Tuscany kind of failed because of long travel times and having to check into air bnb's earlier than expected. I felt a lot of stress around the car as well, whereas the train would be a bit easier and to worry about. I had the responsibility of planning in Italy, but I actually did like to do it. I'm glad I didn't have to do it for a bigger group like in Germany and Prague.
