Slow, easy low HR run outside - on my usual 3.2 mile lake loop. I was able to keep my average HR down to 151 which is an improvement over the last two weeks (both on treadmills) and my speed was faster than the last two weeks when I did this workout. It's nice to see small improvements when you are so far away from where you once were... This weekend I'll likely run the 4mi Memorial Day MCRRC race - I'm definitely not in any kind of race shape, but it will be nice to have a "faster workout" on the schedule :-)
