Notes

Trying to start up running again. Chest congestion is not 100% cleared - I'm going to a pulmonologist this week and hopefully I'll get some answers there. I walked the first quarter mile, then started a slow jog at 5.0 mph. Each quarter mile I bumped it up a tenth until I hit 2 miles running. Then back to walking for the last quarter mile.

I was surprised that as I got under an 11 min/mile pace that my heart rate got to about 170 bpm. It felt great to be moving, but I can't believe how much aerobic capacity I have lost over the last 2-3 months of not running regularly. It's going to be a long road to recovery.
