6.2 mile long run on a sunny Saturday morning with low humidity (there are not too many of those in the DC area during the summer!). I wore my HRM on the run since I wanted to go long and tried my best to keep my heart rate down. Avg HR for the first 4 miles were under 160 bpm which was nice and controlled. Miles 5 and 6 were higher, but I still had energy left for those miles (last week, I crashed after 4.5 miles). This was my longest run since the Parks Half Marathon last September! If I can add on some additional miles over the next 2-3 weekends, I'll sign up for it again this fall.
