59-73F. Started out 1st lap too fast, tried to slow down to 1:40 but unable to find the right pace. It was difficult partly due to wind. Eventually I gave up trying to find 1:40 and kept an unsteady pace around 1:35 or so. After about 15 laps I decided to check my pace every 100m, making sure I hold each under 25s, so the time should be less than 0:25, 0:50, 1:15, 1:40. That seemed to work out well. Typically I start out the first 100 strong, second 100 stable, third 100 getting hard, and the last hundred trying to keep breathing under control. For the first 30 laps I was mostly dealing with slightly hard breathing at the end of each 400, but legs seemed to be strong still. The last 10 laps legs were getting weak and breathing were getting hard. It was difficult getting under 1:30 in the last 5.
