Ran 2 miles at a time, hit the lap button, step off for Gatorade, stretching, then hop back on (recovery time included in lap). Needed to walk during the 2 miles after 20 miles or so, and more than a few times in the last 10 miles. Started at 6mph the dropped to 5.5-5.7 mph after 20 miles or so, and then down to 5-5.5 mph in the last few miles. The muscle connecting the upper thigh to the hip appears to be my weakest link, since the quads and calves felt fine, and afterward the hamstrings are a bit sore. The leg/hip pain started after 32 miles. Post-42 miles was very slow and lots of walking. Drank 5x32oz Gatorade, 1xensure, and 2xbanana, and only lost about 2 pounds afterward.
