HM race effort PB. Plan was to do a HM progression run, starting at 5 min mile, and then reassess whether to speed up or slow down after midpoint based on condition. Was doing well so I kept bumping up the goal. Gorgeous weather today, 53-60F, slightly warm near the end but still good, some breeze but no significant wind. 1 banana and 1 cup water before run, no warmup. Had flipbelt and headphone issues in the second half. Belt kept rotating and the headphone wire kept winding around my waist. Tried to adjust it mid-run several times and my key fob dropped out a couple times. Having to stop and pick it back up really messed up my rhythm, ended up carrying the fob in my hand. Eventually also unplugged the headphone and wound it around my palm for the last few miles as well.
