Skipping the hill sprints today. I want one more day before I really push my calf.
I ran this a bit cautiously on the uphills. There are a lot of short but sharp climbs on this route (in my 'hood) and I'd be pissed if I reinjured the calf for no good reason.
I did open up a bit on the downhills and especially the flat sections. Probably got a couple of good sub-8 stretches in toward the end, after I was good and warm.
No lingering fatigue or dead legs from yesterday -- I really didn't feel that at all. Kept this short since I'm running another 5K at the charity race (although I'm not racing today).
