Okay. So the training program calls for 1 mile warm up, then 3/800 intervals at 4:50 with 400 jogs in between. Then a mile cool down.
I ran the first mile at 5.2, then went to 6.0 for 1/2 mile, back to 5.2 for 1/2 mile, back to 6.0, back to 5.2. Then my rhythm was thrown off. My point is, couldn't do the whole thing without walking. But that's something to work toward.
