That was really hard. I had several culprits - wrong shoes, tired legs (way tired from swimming - my legs felt like bricks) and the heat. Also, my ankle is still bothering me, and I'm icing it down, but I'm not really sure if I should do anything else about it. My legs really felt like heavy steel blocks - I could barely lift them at a 13 minute mile pace. Oh well, after a couple of weeks of swimming as cross training - running should get easier and not more difficult.
