Notes

Forgot to weigh in. Wasn't sure about tonight's run, but went quite well. Incline 1: 3 mi. @ 9:37; 10 min. @ 8:33 w/ 3 min. recovery @ 9:52; 10 min. @ 8:21 w/ 3 min recovery @ 9:52; 10 min. at 7:40 (halfway through it was a battle of the mind but I kept going - stopped for 30 sec. after this to catch my breath) and finished last .58 at 8:95. Started taking sips of water at end of warm up and during recoveries - around 14 oz. altogether Didn't hurt as much as I thought it might. Was kind of pleased with how well the workout went. Feels good to finally get some speed runs under my belt.

This is super! This is really super! No problems at all with the stopping after briefly to rest and awesome to make it through all 3 solid!! These pace tempo runs are such an important part of training! Now you have 2 very down days. Let those ribs recover. Eat a quality, high carb meal on Saturday night before that long run! Proud of you! This is going so well so far!!!
