Notes
Decided before I ran to aim for a 9:30 - 35 pace after the first warm up mile and just try to keep it steady. I think I did pretty well (9:41, 9:34, 9:36, 9:33, 9:31, 9:34, 9:27, 9:34, 9:30, 9:48, 9:29, 9:30, 9:25, 9:26, 9:36, 9:33, 9:38, 9:51, 10:01, 10:14, 9:46). Had 1/2 a waffle at 5, 10, and 15 mile markers and drank 18 oz. of water during run. Carbed up at noon and supper meals the day before. Drank a 32 oz. power ade at 4:30 am before run. Legs felt kind of stiff at 19 mi. and was wondering how the last three mi. were going to go, but I did follow through the fairly well.
