Tempo run #2. Damn! These things are difficult. I ran the first mile in 9:10, then ran 39:26 for the next five miles for a tempo run pace of 7:54 min/mile. This run was in lullwater again, and I think the hills are making my pace slower. I think that I need to find a better (i.e. flatter with good footing) course to get my pace much faster. Hopefully repitition will help as well. I'd like to get my tempo run times down to about 7:30min/mile pace.

My legs were pretty heavy today and my muscles hurt from the workouts this week. I'm ready for my one day off tomorrow and hopefully I won't be too sore for the 18miler on Saturday.
