Good (supposed to be 17 mile) run with Caroline and Julia. We varied the pace quite a bit because Caroline was having a rough run. Max pace was 8:30s and slow pace was about 10min/mile. Run felt excellent! until I sprained my ankle pretty badly at 15.5 miles. I hit a rock and went down. There is a fair bit of swelling and pain (along with various unimportant scrapes and bruises), however I should be able to run again in 4 days. DAMN IT! I wanted to finish the run. On a positive note, I am feeling much better on long runs (except for the occasional fall), and it is easier for me to keep up faster paces. I am revising the goal for October to a sub 4hr marathon.
