Notes

I've been taking my recovery serious this week ;) First run in a few days. I just had to get out of the house. I hiked about 4 miles with my son yesterday, after he got his flu shot. Probably not smart because today he is so weak and tired he can't even get off the couch no matter how bad he wants to go outside. Poor kid. Anyway the dog has been chopping at the bit to get some exercise so I used that as an excuse to head out the door. Ran the first mile a little harder than I should have considering we're in recovery but the legs were fresh and the air cool and dry. Managed to slow down a little for the last three. Love this weather!

I'm keeping in mind the tough training cycles ahead though and I'm really going to take the next two weeks of recovery seriously. The goal is to keep the miles in check and work on core/hip strength so I can hit the ground running, pun intended.
