Guessing on the total distance. Simulated the 3ish mile climbs that I'll be facing in a few weeks at Terrapin. Set the treadmill to 12% incline and alternated running / power walking every quarter mile. Did two 3 mile hills and ended with a 2 mile hill. I didn't notice on the first two, but the last one said 1186 feet for the two mile climb at 12%. So just about the same as a climb up Maryland Heights. HR was in low to mid 150s while running, down in 120-130s while walking. Never saw it go over 155. Felt it mostly in my legs.
