Notes
Very happy after this one. Towards the end I really felt it in my upper legs, both quads and hamstrings. Not sore but just like I had worked them really well. Thinking about the past 7 days: 2 runs on Old Waterford/Morven Park and one run up and down Maryland Heights. Those are three intense effort runs with lots of good climbs. I want to keep this up and right now I feel like it is possible.
When I finished my first thought was slow pace, but after uploading the workout on Strava I feel a lot better. I'm towards the top of the leaderboard on some of the climbs. A few of the guys on there are in a different universe, but I'm one of the best of the rest. Looking to continue to improve and above all build endurance on these type of runs. Sure I can do it for 12 miles, but how about 30 or 50?
