I tried out a new pair or Pearl Izumi M3s which are a lot different than anything I currently run in. It is a stability shoe with lots of cushion. Very stiff shoe. As soon as I tried them on I had doubts but I wanted to try them out. My thought was they might be good on longer stuff. They just beat me up. This lead to a pretty slow run.
