Notes

This was interesting. The trail had about an inch of snow and it was coming down a lot during the run. Traction was at a minimum but I pushed like hell to go the scheduled pace which was 7:26 per mile. I was struggling to keep it below 8:00 miles, but I kept digging.

When I got back to the Key Bridge where the road was covered I realized just how little traction there was in the snow, I literally gave myself whiplash when I hit the dry pavement. To only lose 30 seconds a mile off the target time was a win.

I know God has a way of humbling the proud so I tried to keep it in check, but I felt tough as hell when I got back to the office with my beard frozen and covered in snow realizing what I had done.
