I covered 20 miles but walked 2 of them after losing the trail and hiking through the woods to find my way back. This is the same trail used by the 50K on June 2nd. It was a little more difficult than I expected on sections with lots of very steep climbs and descents. Also I wasn't very graceful, rolled my ankle twice but no harm done. Hopefully with practice I'll get more comfortable. I am definitely out of my comfort zone but that's ok.

Pace was all over the place. On some of the climbs I had to walk and I tiptoed going down a few of the steep hills. This run just beat me up mentally and physically so you can see how the pace falls off. That last mile I was able to pick it up a little so I think my legs are fine, it was just an eye opening experience on how tough trail running is compared to what I'm used to.
