This was exactly what the doctor ordered. I pushed very hard and let go and let God. Reminded myself constantly spirit over mind over body. No matter what happens in the marathon I know I'm in the best physical and spirtual shape of my life so far. I just need to maintain the intensity and let God take care of the rest.
Note: After 48 hours of rest my legs feel great. I was sore the first night as expected but no lingering or out of the ordinary discomfort. No need for NSAIDs.
