Ran down to the BBQ place and back. Slow easy pace. Heart rate strap stopped working after pit stop by the quarry. Legs felt ok as long as I didn't push too hard. First longer run on all pavement in a long time. Felt it a little. My feet need to toughed up and get used to it.
Take aways, after looking at the data my cadence slowed after the first 1.5 mile. I need to focus on quicker turnover. Tight hips makes that seem hard but I'm sure it is doable.
