I remembered these last legs being hard last year and they were again this year. It's not necessarily tired legs, just overall fatigue from so little sleep. I made sure to eat well throughout the night and it worked well but next year I might need to see if I can get more sleep. This year only about 2 hours and the week leading up to this race sleep amount and quality was poor. That coupled with a head cold put me in a tough spot but I was very happy with how my legs felt, and ever now the day after absolutely no soreness.

The heat was getting to me at the end but thanks to a really nice young lady at the end of this one who passed me but waved me on to stay with her and started a conversation which was very cool of her. At the finish my buddies were like you got chicked and I was like you have no idea.
