I feel fantastic, totally rested and strong. I got extra sleep this weekend and the lower mileage of last week has me ready to go.
I agree that my biggest danger is going out too fast and getting in over my head. That happened the last time I was well trained for the JFK 50 in 2012. Paid the price from the middle part onward. I need to remember that and take it easy at the start and settle into nice pace.
