Really nice weather for this run. I took the dog out for the first mile which made for a nice warmup. Got right into the 3 x 10:00 with 1:00 rest interval @ half marathon pace. Next time I'll turn off auto split on the watch so I can measure each repeat. The first two were mostly up hill which was actually easier for me than downhill. I need to improve my downhill running. I really noticed this in the last 50K with all the elevation. I probably need to work squats into the strength training routine.

Splits:

1 - 10:14 (dog mile)

2 - 8:08 (started repeats at about mile 1.3)

3 - 7:33

4 - 7:35

5 - 7:45 (mostly downhill, notice the drop in pace, picked it back up for short up hill section at end so I know it was overall fatigue)

6 - 8:22

7 - 9:06
