I underestimated a few things: 1 the course, 2 the heat and proper preparation for both. Writing this the day after and my legs feel pretty good, the issues I had yesterday were the other things. Felt very dehydrated. Only used restroom once during the whole 6 hours and it was dark yellow. Looking back I felt dehydrated all morning long and just thought I'd catch up. Stupid! On top of this the weather was amazing in the morning, mid 60s. So I didn't even think about heat. Forgot S-Caps. Got up to 80 degrees and looking back I haven't had any long runs lately mid day that was sunny. The TWOT loop was cooler and raining AND I took a lot of S-Caps. I was sweating like crazy especially on the climbs and just drinking water and all I had to eat all day was some banana chips that were salt free. I was lightheaded and nauseated. I had to get back to the car so I told myself just to back off keep the engine as cool as possible and slowly and steadily get back to trailhead. Finally made it. Last quarter of this was really rough.

Lots of lessons learned or remembered.
