Notes
Perfect weather and legs felt surprisingly well. The toughest part was running on so little sleep but all the scenery of this route and the nice shower I was able to sneak in at the prior transition point helped. I took it out steady and found I could maintain an 8:30 pace for much of the first leg. Towards the end I faded a bit but still was able to keep up a consistent pace.
Splits:
- 8:33
- 8:44
- 8:26
- 8:56
- 8:56
- 8:51
- 9:20
- 9:26
- 8:49
- 9:47 (course detour with stairs off the trail, I walked these)
- 9:44 (detour back onto trail with stairs, walked these too)
- 9:17
- 9:16
- 9:31
- 9:49 (died a bit at the end but go through, it wasn't legs just overall fatigue and hunger)
