Notes

On treadmill. 6:40 pace for 10 miles, then evenly accelerated up to 6:00 pace by 14 miles. Held that for 4 miles, then 2 mile cooldown. Back and right hip started hurting again about halfway but stuck it out. 3 runs of 20 or more miles in 7 days; that's about as ready as I will get for the 50-miler in 2 weeks.
