7 mile progression

Goal was to start around 6:30 and end around 5:20. Given the splits, it's safe to say this workout went very well. Decided to take my inhaler this time. I've started taking it again because I still feel like the chest issue comes back at the worst time possible so I'm going to take it on a regular basis until Nationals is over and then I can go see a pulmonologist about it. Anyways, back to the workout. Usual prog run group. First few miles were really easy since the wind was on the back of us. My other goal was to just stay as relaxed as possible. So this meant shaking out my shoulders every while and making sure my breathing was under control. Definitely felt some strain near the 7th mile, but by that point, I was feeling very strong and didn't really try to push the pace. Finished without feeling too tired surprisingly despite the fast last mile. Definitely the smoothest prog run I've ever done. Going to try to keep this momentum of staying relaxed and finishing strong for the rest of my workouts.
