Ran barefooted in the rain on asphalt roads, mostly sandy trails in the woods, some mud and thru two gravel parking lots (yeow!) Got a bruise under my instep from stepping on a larger rock I didn't see - otherwise just fine. One other BF runner who did 23:XX, one with minimalist sandals, one with Vibram FF. Would be happy to do this one again next year.
