The impetus to get me out the door barefooted is a 5K in May 65 miles from here with a Barefoot/Vibram FF division, so I'm going for it! 1st BF run outside in months. After the first quarter mile, felt good - gained lots of confidence, relaxed, and looking forward to more. (I did 4-10 miles BF on the TM each week for a few months, but believe it or not, the TM kept giving me long-lasting blisters whenever I went past about 3 miles - so I think pavement will treat my feet much better!).
